    We book our appointments through consultations. You must be 18+ years or older, and have a state issued photo ID on your person. You can request your consultation and next tattoo through each artists portfolio. If you are unable to reach them, you are welcome to contact the shop.

    If you have a booked appointment and have become pregnant, are nursing, called on military duties, experiencing medical issues, or under mental duress, we understand that your circumstances may require a pause in your tattoo sessions. We want to assure you that you can take a break without any penalty. Your well-being is important to us, and we are here to support you through any challenges you may face. Please don't hesitate to inform us so that we can accommodate your needs accordingly.

  • There is a parking lot on the NE side of the shop which has $5 all day parking.

    The street has $5 all day parking that is free after 5pm.

  • Avoid tanning beds or prolonged UV light, Retinol creams, chemical peels, cuts or scrapes on the tattoo area for at least a month prior to your session. Do not shave close to the tattoo area to avoid cuts.
    If you have a sun burn, psoriasis, skin lesions, or any skin anomalies the tattoo procedure cannot proceed until the skin is clear and healthy.
    Stay hydrated and eat nutritious, well balanced meals. If you are on any specific diets that restrict you from doing this, please communicate this to your artist.
    Exfoliate your skin with a gentle scrub 2 - 3 days before the appointment and keep moisturized. (Try our Whipped Lotion and Scrub.

    • Tattoo booths are for the artist and client, and possibly one additional person. This person will be required to follow the same safety rules and expectations as we ask of you.

    • Children are NOT allowed in the tattoo area and cannot be left unattended in the gallery.

    • Please come showered and comfortably dressed. Wear clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed, without having to be rolled or held in place. Warm, comfortable layers are recommended. We will provide nipple covers for those who may need them for the area getting tattooed.

    • Keep your schedule open and avoid scheduling activities immediately after your appointment, in case it runs longer than expected.

    • Enjoy our WIFI! Bring headphones and enjoy a show on your device.

    • Please avoid using numbing creams on your skin. Trust us! They can interfere with the tattooing process and healing.

    • Free free to bring snack and drinks, or take advantage of our complementary treats.

  • Keep the bandage on for the maximum of 4-6 hours. It's normal to see blood or fluids under the bandage at this point. Do not take off bandage until ready to wash for this fluid will dry and form a scab. Your first wash can be messy, be prepared. Make sure your sink/shower is cleaned and aftercare is accessible.
    1. With clean hands, wash your tattoo with an unscented antibacterial soap. (try our Foam Soap!) Use small circular motions with moderate pressure while touching the tattoo.
    2. Rinse with clean water and repeat until the tattoo is clean from slimy fluids and build up. Pat dry with clean paper towel(s).
    3. With clean hands, use a small amount of salve/ointment (try our aftercare Salve) and apply with gentle circular motions. Make sure not to double dip, or contaminate your salve with dirty hands. Repeat these steps for 3 days, 3 times a day.

    On the fourth day, switch from ointment/salve to a moisturizing, unscented lotion (try our Whipped Lotion) to prevent the tattoo from cracking. During this time, your skin may become flaky like a sunburn peel.
    Do NOT pick or pull off dry dead skin. Expect this to be the itchiest stage. Keep moisturizing with lotion and washing with antibacterial soap.

    Things to AVOID for one (1) month after tattoo session

    Avoid tanning beds or any prolonged UV light, tight clothes over the tattoo, excessive rubbing, scratching, or pulling the skin. No close shaving, exfoliation, or overusing ointments.

    Do not contaminate your tattoo with bacteria, animal saliva, other peoples sweat, harsh body washes or chemicals. Do not go swimming or soak in the water, and avoid dirty water. Keep your sheets clean.

    • Deposits are to protect the client and artist, and to secure your place in the artists schedule. Deposits go toward the price of the tattoo in one way or another. Please be aware of how your artist operates.

    • Projects should be completed by original artist within 2 years. If the artist moves, Gold Fang is not responsible for completing your project.

    • If you cancel your appointment within 48 hours and/or 3 times consecutively, a new deposit will be required to continue services. any unexpected delays to your tattoo appointment such as and non limited to; Surgical alterations or drawing add ons. which require the artist to redraw will 1/2 the previous deposit and could result in rescheduling the appointment to a later date.

  • The shop minimum is $120, but artists may have their own minimum. There are no returns/refunds. Payment is collected after each session.

  • With much research and great pride, Gold Fang Gallery implements minimal products in our practice and throughout the art studio that are also bio-degradable, compostable, or recyclable.
    The impact that tattooing has on the environment due to its overuse of single use plastics, paper, and chemicals is overwhelming. Like most medical practices, waste is hardly considered when your subject is a living being that must be protected from cross-contamination.
    For over a decade, owner Renee Little has been a voice in her industry regarding product design and quality control. A naturalist at heart, she has strong ethics concerning eco-friendly practices and hypoallergenic products.
    All medical barriers and sharps used in Gold Fang Gallery are disposable, single use products guaranteeing the utmost sterility.
